"Confession Is Good for the Soul"

As we entered into the celebration of "Pride Month" on June 1st, my heart grew heavy once again as I witness the mass deception that lies over the population of our nation and many other areas of the world ... deception that leads to anguish and turmoil within families and communities ... and worse, ultimately to the judgment of God. Satan is the master of deception, the "father of lies," as Jesus called him. He wants to keep people in spiritual darkness so that they will not come to Christ for forgiveness and cleansing. Many think that Christians are hateful, judgmental people who want to meddle in other people's business; but nothing could be farther from the truth. God calls His people, those who by His grace know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to share the good news of forgiveness and life with others who are bound in sin. It is love that motivates true Christians to confront people with the truth about sin and to tell them that "confession is good for the soul." . Confession leads to repentance, to forgiveness, and ultimately to joy in God's salvation!!
