"How Bad Is the Human Race?"
It's fun to share good news with people! It makes them happy and they will probably like you for telling them. But when it comes to the good news of the Gospel, that God offers forgiveness and eternal life to those who believe in Jesus Christ, people need to hear the BAD news first, if they are ever going to repent, to seek after God, to rejoice in Jesus Christ and follow Him. People must first be confronted with the reality of their total depravity, of their spiritual condition apart from God's grace. Only then will they be moved by the Spirit of God to turn away from the foolishness of their sinful rebellion and humble themselves before God. Pride goes before a fall, and it often prevents people from believing the truth, that they deserve God's eternal judgment in hell. How BAD is the human race?? Worse than you think!! BUT GOD ...
