"Islam, Government and the Future"
What people believe about God and spiritual things affects their view of the role of government and has a lot to do with what they consider the "role of government." While many believe that religion and politics are two separate things, your religious beliefs, or lack thereof, will determine not only your view of government, but also the scope of government. When those in government are not living in subjection to the one true God, our Creator, existing without the guidance of His Word and Spirit, without acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord, they will crave but one thing: POWER!! And they will then use power to control people who are oblivious to what they are really doing. Such deception abounds in our nation and around the world. True Christians need to wake up to this reality and sound the warning as we proclaim the Gospel and seek to live as "salt and light."
