"The End of This World ... and the Beginning of the Next"

God makes it clear in His Word, the Bible, that the world in which you and I live today is temporary ... that it will pass away under His coming judgment. But He also makes it clear that He will create a NEW heaven and a NEW earth for His people, for those who by the work of His Spirit through the Gospel of Jesus Christ have come to believe and be saved. This planet is not millions or billions of years old, and mankind did not evolve from some lower species. God created mankind in His image as spiritual beings, and we can find our meaning and purpose in life only by knowing our Creator through faith in His Son. Nothing else is more important than being reconciled to our Father in heaven, confessing our sin and trusting in the mercy and grace of God to forgive our sins and to credit to us the perfect righteousness of Jesus. This world, as you and I know it WILL end, and there will be a time of horrible judgment upon all who have not believed in Jesus. But for those who by God's grace have placed their hope in Jesus Christ, there will be a new beginning ... a new world, where there will be no more sin or death or crying or pain! Rejoice in that hope today and share it with others who have not yet believed in Jesus. God may use YOU to draw them to Himself by speaking truth to their hearts.
