"The Jesus Most People Don't Know"

As I listen to people talk about Jesus this time of year, I often wonder if they know the REAL Jesus ... the One who came from His throne in heaven to take upon Himself human flesh for the purpose of going to the cross to suffer and die for sinners like you and me! It seems that many think of Jesus as a good teacher who lived in the past and taught some nice things, like telling people to love their neighbor as themselves. People are encouraged to go to church and find a community of nice people. And while all of that may be beneficial ... certainly better than many other options ... it cannot replace the knowledge of the true Jesus!! Knowing the true Jesus can only happen when the Spirit of God opens your eyes, giving you a new heart, a new mind and a new will to see clearly the depth of your need for a Savior, and then to trust in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and eternal life. Anything less, as good and nice and kind as it may appear, is quite honestly deception, that is leading many to destruction. Only the REAL Jesus can save you from God's judgment against your sins and only the REAL Jesus is worthy of our worship and our praise!! Do you know Him??
